On Thursday we had a very informative visit from Niall and Lianne from the Mayo Mental Health Association. They were delighted to discover that all of us had taken part in "Friends For Life" in school. They reminded us about some risk factors associated with poor mental health and the protective factors we can use to balance them out. They told us that small things can become big things in our minds if we don't know how to cope with them. They gave us tips on how to enhance our mental health. They said that turning off all electronic devices at least an hour before we sleep will help us to have a restful night. If we have a good night's sleep, we have better days.
