Sport

Here in Saint Feichín’s National School, we recognise the positive impact that physical activity, exercise and sport have on pupils in primary school. To encourage and develop a culture of physical activity and exercise among our students, we endeavour to offer a variety of sports and activities to our pupils including swimming, Zumba, soccer, rugby, athletics and GAA. We have a very enjoyable Chess Club which meets once a week.  We became a GAA Five Star Centre in 2019. Our school takes part in various school competitions and tournaments including FAI 5 a-side soccer, cross country running, GAA mini-sevens and Cumann na mBunscol. We organise a Sports Day for all classes in the final term.
