Welcome to the STEM section of our website! Stem education focuses on areas of Science, Technology, Education and Maths. These subjects are embedded in the world around us and in everything we do.
In our school we focus on STEM all the way from the Junior Infants through to 6th Class. This can be during explicit lessons, in our teaching and learning, and through our play. We participate in Maths Week, Engineers Week and Science Week annually, and have been awarded with the SFI Discover Science and Maths Plaque for many years now.

Incredible Edibles
We are checking on our seeds daily.....lots of germination happening! Looking forward to a bumper crop of lettuce, potatoes, carrots, peas, beans, strawberries and lots more!
Engineers' Week
We became aeronautical engineers this week! We had a great time designing and testing our paper planes!
Science Week 2023
We had great fun during Science Week. We took part in many activities like kite designing and making, optical illusions, testing our eyesight and exploring light and colour. Check out our photos!
