Maurice the Lamb
On Friday, Ms. Presnail brought one of her lambs into the school. The lamb’s name was Maurice. The lamb was sitting in a small crate with straw in it. As Spring/The Farm is the current Aistear theme in the Junior Room, Maurice visited the Junior Infants, Senior Infants and First class first. The children got a great surprise and Maurice was very quiet. He visited the other two classrooms also. When the children were petting him, he was so relaxed that he felt asleep. Thanks Ms. Presnail. We really enjoyed meeting Maurice.
World Book Day
World Book Day took place on Thursday. The children love reading. The Junior Room shared their love of reading with each other.
