We were delighted to welcome the Minister for Education, Norma Foley to our school. Councillor Damien Ryan and Lisa Chambers, T.D. visited too. In Ms. Muldoon's room they watched our film "Cross, the Place we Call Home" and were treated to a lovely rendition of "Oró se do Bheatha Bhaile" The Minister was presented with some beautiful flowers and a book about our local area. The children from Ms. Geraghty's room performed a song named "Míonna na Bliana" and the children from Ms. Presnail's room recited a poem called "Duilleoga deasa deasa". We were presented with a Cineáltas flag. It was a lovely, happy occasion.
