On Thursday morning at 9.30am, we had mass for the beginning of the school year. It was celebrated by our new priest, Fr. Declan.
All the children sang beautifully in the school choir accompanied by Ms. Muldoon on the keyboard.
Our opening hymn was "The Gathering Song".
Eleanor read the First Reading and Daragh the Responsorial Psalm.
Patrick, Nathan, Luke, Evan, Shayna and Julia read the Prayers of the Faithful.
Isabella and Hannah took part in the Offertory Procession.
Our Communion hymn was "Your Love's Greater".
Danny read the Communion Reflection.
Fr. Declan thought it would be a good idea to have no homework if the teachers agreed. Luckily for us they did.
Our closing hymn was "Siúil sa Ghrá".
We wish everyone a safe and happy year in school.
