The last two weeks of October were very busy. We missed two days because of Hurricane Ophelia. Jack’s dad John went down to Cork to help fix roofs that were damaged.
The younger children entered a Halloween colouring competition in one of the local shops.
We all enjoyed the activities for Maths Week. We did Maths Trails, Quizzes and loads of Problem Solving.

Junior and Senior Infants designed hats for Winnie the Witch and made a spooktacular book!
The Senior Room created Mysterious Midnight Owls with paint and oil pastels.
We went to see a great show in Galway as part of the Barboró festival. It was called “They Called Her Vivaldi”. It was excellent.
Everybody had a great time dressing up on Thursday.
The Senior Room took part in “The Raft Challenge” where we had to construct a raft using lollipop sticks and elastic bands.
We were absolutely delighted to host a concert by The Lyric FM Quartet. It was absolutely super. We were so lucky to have experienced such wonderful music in our school. It helped us realise that practising our music is a good idea.
