Aistear
Our topic in Aistear is "The Supermarket". We have been very busy writing shopping lists. We use our shopping lists to buy products in the Supermarket. The shopkeeper scans in our items and we can pay by card or cash. All this happens in our Socio-Dramatic area
We play with our small world people in our Small World area. They enjoy a visit to the meat counter, the household goods aisle and the fruit and vegetable area of their small world supermarket.
We make a lot of different items in our Creative area. We use playdough to put our shopping in a trolley.
In our Art/Construction area we cut and stick items onto a shopping list.
A Visit From Simon Dwyer
The children in Ms. Muldoon's and Mr. Bourke's classrooms were very happy to listen to musician, Simon Dwyer when he visited today. The instruments were very interesting and everyone enjoyed the experience.
